Fluke up north, Stoneington, ct - gdn443 - 06-27-2010 Hit the water at six with Bob and headed out. Saw some breaking water outside sandy point and threw some sluggos. Came back chomped in half, so we went to the grounds. I had the first three shorts when Bob pulls in a 27" 6.12lb beauty. Now we'er off to a good start. Short after short came in as we stopped counting at 30. Got a call from my father that he's at the dock, so we took a break to pick him up as well. Back at it till slack tide, when I could take a break from playing mate and unhooking my fish. Alot of doubles, but only the keeper. Called it at 1:30 as the out going tide wasn't as produtive. Went through 1 1/2 boxes of squid and three porkys for bait. Now if they can only get bigger. We did see some folks keeping all fish, I'm sure it will happen alot this year. Archie, your'er going to show me what??? We seem to be going backwards in sizes. I'll see if I can find some blues next week to keep the blood pumping. [signature] |
