i am living near a dam and it has a nice river so i thought i would go fishing at it and i havent caught a thing! soo i need some advice on the upper river bass fishing!
i live near a dam and have gone to it often and never caught a thing haha to be honest i dont know how to fish rapids or and flowing rivers! its the Catawba river dam if anyone has any tips! [

Not sure if your useing bait or lures, but both must roll with the flow. I let it hit the bottom with live bait as I pull it in. Lures I'll crank alittle more so they don't snag. I'll use a white grub with some shot and make the hook weedless. Not my favorite way to fish, so I don't do it much. But alot of guys get fish.
