Green River Trip Questions - Eternal_Angler - 05-28-2010
I am taking my Dad, boy, and friends to the Green next month. We are going to raft and fish the A section below the Gorge damn. Now I have been down it multiple times on a tube.
I am trying to plan my trip. Unfortunately I cannot take the entire day to fish it as I normally would, as the people coming with us need to get home that evening. The plan is to do a mix of rafting and fishing. How long would it take to raft the A section straight without fishing? Hopefully someone out there just rafted it. I will add additional time for fishing as well [fishin]. It would be a sin not to take them fishing. Any help you guys could provide will help me make a memorable trip.

it should only take a couple of hours to go thru the canyon if you are rafting. the high water release is going right now. i have fished thru there several times in 6 hours but that is taking lunch and screwing off a bit. no need to rush a nice fishing trip
