the trim tabs on my boat wont go down. anybody have some advice on these?

I know there is something like a powersteering pump on the front of the engine that i have had to fill up in the past. is that where you check the fluid for trim tabs? I thought it was for steering.

Yes, make sure too put the right fluid in it. Check manual or ask boat shop which fluid too use.
