Wasatch Expo Report - rainbowlunker - 03-27-2010
I went to the expo this morning and had a great time. My two boys tied some wooly buggers in the kids area. We also met Flygoddess and she made a bait fish pattern for my son. There were several fly shops in attendance selling flies, line, etc...Well worth the time. I will be going again next year!
A big thanks to Flygoddess for the flies and all of your fishing advice!

It was a good show!! a lot of different syles of flies and top quality tiers. I watched tiers in both sessions. I must say our local tiers were awsome.
The best inovation I saw was our own
Bountiful tier Bob Thulin : man flowers, a varagated marabou tail system. I guarantee we will be seeing a lot of variations and knock offs of his style of tail in the future. Impressive!
This show was especially fun for me because I was able to see a lot of people I have not seen for years. F.G. your as beautiful as ever!! nice to see you again!

You guys need to plan for it next year,tying shows are the Bomb!

It was a blast today. Met allot of great people and SPECIALLY Travis and wife. You two are soooo fantastic. Not only a great looking couple, as nice as they come.
Travis, that artwork just leaves me speechless. You are so unbelievable.
I opted for Chinese for dinner instead of the Banquet, so I will have to see who gets it, but I will let you know.
And go figure, I place first for the casting contest! A chore casting into the wind. Won $100 gift certificate, some NEW Cortland Intermediate, a BUNCH of Fluoro Tippet, and a great Plaque.
HFT, Awesome seeing you again. Rainbow, I plan on fishing with you and those boys!
