Mackay Ice - brdchsr - 03-04-2010
Hi,
Has anyone recently fished Mackay Reservoir, Magic Reservoir, or Sportsmans out of Aberdeen? I would like to know the ice conditions if you have been. I would like to make one more trip out before open water and have not fished Mackay or Magic for years.
If you have gone in the last few days I would appreciate an update on the conditions.

Mackay's ice should be fine. Sportsmans may be getting tough to get onto but I haven't been there.

It was just fine last weekend. Shacks were still out. There is however open water on the end where the river flows in.
