Another Big Mako Bites the Dirt - JapanRon - 07-21-2003 Hey there guys, Just saw on the local LA news where one team in a Mako fishing tournament caught an 800 pound Mako, and knew they wouldn't make the weigh-in but brought it to the dock anyway! All I can say to the shark fisherman it that hauling in a big fish that could contribute to breeding is cutting off their noses in spite of their faces. Nice 800 pounder for a picture!! I don't fish sharks but I understand that they only have a few pups a year. JapanRon [signature] Re: [JapanRon] Another Big Mako Bites the Dirt - dh_tubinaaron - 07-22-2003 That sucks!!
