do the cudas eat the squid. I always wondered that. I have never caught one on squid. is this a way to get your bait past those annoying creatures and actually get your bait to the species you are targeting??? hmmmm.....

Hey DH_tubinjoe,
I don't think calamari is on their menu. They carry no toothpicks and don't floss regularly.. so go figure.
I noticed that about pelicans too. Throw a hungry pelican a fresh dead squid and they don't give it a second glance. They might eat a live one but I haven't seen it yet.. besides they ain't the quickest bird afloat.

Barries love squid!!!!! WHen you have squid in the spring at ROcky Point you get the barries chewin on it and you catch the seabass there at teh same time!!!
