Is the road to Blackfoot res. still open? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to go up to Blackfoot Res. one time and there were a bunch of cows on the road. I don't know if theyr'e still there.

I would imagine the highway is open year around. I'm not sure whether they plow the road from the highway to the dam???

I would assume with the tiny bit of snow we have that is is still accessible. Nothing is plowed around the Reservoir other than the very East end.

There were some reports on Blackfoot a while back , pretty slow . They left there and went over to Chesterfield and did well . Curt G.

That road drifts in really bad. I would think even with the little bit of snow and the wind we had last week that it is probably drifted in. You might be able to make it in a big truck with chains on all fours. Let us know if you try it.
