He could have killed someone and then their is the illegal dumping thing. They let him off with a warning and a threat to prosecute if any further actions like that ensued. Got one yesterday but he fell too far and kind of blew up on impact. Other hunters kind of messed things up today. I think I will try one more time tomorrow morning. P.S. Am Falls Reservoir completely froze over but nobody is fishing anywhere but Sportsmen's Park. The area around Geritol Beach froze with chunks of heavy chopped garbage in the mix. This hazardous situation kind of snuffed the early folks from risking it. I did not have opportunity to check the thickness on that end (south end) but the better spot to access would be from the east shore where the ice froze normally. I did go out on the ice a good distance on the north end of the reservoir that froze earlier (near Sterling). It was 12" thick but there was still an area of water on the ice. Maybe I will catch you next weekend. The ice was 8" and the bite was great. We caught a mixed bag of Rainbows and Browns which we released. We were looking for Rubberlips and Whities and did pretty good on those. A feller can't have enough fish bait for the Burbs and Macs to come! [signature]
