They looked pretty interesting that the tail can be split. I think I got the Chartreuse. I have some that after I split in two, I will take a blade and split those two again for more flutter! Seems to work on some days when nothing else will. I might have to try splitting the tail into four sections, that sounds interesting. In the spring/summer the maniac minnows also fish well, for trout. In my opinion the paddle bug works just a little bit better because of the wings on the body. When you vertical jig them they have a very nice glider action. Like I said, I do have a ton of Maniac products that I use for bass fishing. Windriver [signature]
