Humminbird 35 Flasher? - fishn_w_allday - 12-09-2009 Can anyone tell me (through personal experience) how the Humminbird 35 flasher performs? Is it a good alternative to a Vexilar or Marcum? Thanks in advance for your help.... I used it all of last season and it performed great. I was able to catch a lot more fish. I do not have any experience with Vexilar or Marcum just what I read about them when doing my research last year. Hopefully this helps. Here's a link so you can view informational videos on these flashers. IMHO well worth the investment if you like to hard deck fish like us. I'm no techno-geek but if I can figure these out anyone can. Biggest thing is the tranducer you want to use. These videos in the link will explain them I believe. [url "http://www.actiontackleproducts.com/abi.html"]http://www.actiontackleproducts.com/abi.html[/url] Best of luck on your Flasher selection but well worth it IMHO...with a the Flasher and a quality bite indicator we caught grundles of fish last year. Did a bang up job at Fish Lake last February. It doesn't have the digital read out that the 45 model does and a couple other features but if I can figure it out, anyone can. The battery lasts a long time and the transducer is very sensitive. The entire unit fits nicely into an empty kitty litter bucket, too. ![]() [signature] Re: [fishn_w_allday] Humminbird 35 Flasher? - t_wolfer - 12-23-2009 i just got onr and it is sweet! I was deciding between vex and marcum and went with the 35 I like the big screen, it easy to see from a distance! sometimes it does seem to make alot of noise from vibrations. I just move it and it shuts up! battery will easily last a day! but I didn't like how I had to put it together its not hard just didn't want to! wanted to check it out right away. [signature] |
