I fished IP yesterday , 6" of clear hard ice , and it got down to -18 last night so I think it will be safe for snowmachines and 4 wheeler by this weekend . Fishing was slow 3 fish in 5 hours . Curt G.

I fished IP last night from 4 p.m. until about midnight, caught one fish, the ice is great though. 8 inches of clear hard ice, hopefully the fishing gets better

Is the best fishing around the dam or are there better areas? I have been by the dam and done fair. I was thinking about the west end or more by where the water enters the lake like Lakeside.
