Deep Creek - JAB2208 - 11-25-2009
Any recent reports from Deep creek? Thinking of hitting it this weekend from the shore...or even the hard deck if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this helps, but I was up there two week ago. I wasn't fishing from the shore, I was in a tube. I went up there based upon a report from some other fisherman that absolutely killed them. Well, my experience was every little fish was after my flies. I had dozens of small little bumps and then that was it. I ended up landing 10 little fish (I don't even bother to measure them if they look under 15 inches), 2 - 17's and 2 - 18's. I did the best in about 10 to 15 feet of water. Of course that was 2 weeks ago and warmer.
I would be curious to know if you ice fish this lake and if so what has been your experience.

None, it was emptied a fews years ago. Only trout.
