Low water years in Trudes Bay IP. - curt69 - 11-11-2009 There are two dams on your way into Trudes . They were built before there was ever a resivior . They used boards to raise and lower the water level behind each dam . And they were stocked with fish by the ranch . The first two pictures I am sending are of the second dam . It is amost straight out from the cabin . The last picture is of the first dam and you go over it about 300 yards before you get to the second dam . This one has claimed a lot of lower ends on boat motors . You can't see it until the lake is about 20 percent full . When the dam is visible the fishing behind it is great . The water temp out side the dam can get up to 78 . And behind the dam 48 to 52 , the fish just gang up in there when this happens . Last pic , granddaughter with 8# rainbow caught behind #1 dam Curt G. [signature] Re: [curt69] Low water years in Trudes Bay IP. - windriver - 11-11-2009 Thanks for the info. I have float tubed along the dam when it is barely under water. It can be very good. Windriver [signature] |
