Fall crappie tips? - bluemohawk - 11-06-2009

This is my first fall for going after crappie. The water temps for the lakes in my area are around 45-55 degrees right now. If anyone has any free advice that would be appreciated.

knowing the structure of your lake is your best bet.

Where you found them mid summer you should be able to find them all winter.

mouth of canals are a fairly good place to target, and when ice sets in, up in the canals.

Grappie arent realy a migritory fish, they genneraly stay where the food is, and will do so untill something happens to change structure, habitat, ect... Crappie will follow the food source where ever it goes.
