Dropped in @ WT around 6:00 yesterday and within five minutes of leaving the dock we found a school hitting the top chasing baitfish. Stopped at sportsmans WH on the way and picked up a pack of Berkley Realstix power minnow, they worked great. We both tied them on our crappie rods for fun, we had a blast fishing with light tackle. We ended up landing about 30 fish by dark and called it a night. First time in a week the wind wasn't too bad. My boy ended up with a LM that was a little over 3 for his biggest fish and i got a stripe that was around the same size, a lot of fun using light tackle. Next time i'll try and bring the camera, we usually ge in such a hurry to get an hour or two of daylight to fish we always forget something! emoBang
