Went looking for crappie for the crappie tournament and found some deep but ran up the lake and couldn't find any there. Did find some schooling bass up there though. What a blast, topwater action. the wind came up up there and the sky turned dark so we ran back closer to home. Found some schooling bass about dusk not far from home and caught bunches. Close to 20 with a few over 3 lbs. Lots of 1.5 to 2lbers. Here's a pick of two good ones that made the ride home.
