Attracting Crappie to a new brush pile? - lp04 - 10-01-2009 A friend of mine and I are going to wake up early Friday morning to set out a brush pile to try to get some crappie onto it hopefully by monday. What are some good methods to get the crappie to move into the brush pile in a reasonable time period? I have heard to put a couple cans of dog food into a sock and attach it to the brush. I have also heard of canned corn. Anybody else got any ideals?
