PVC madness - idahopanfish - 09-26-2009 I was on a retreat a couple of weekends ago and had my rods along and only my chairs and no rod holders so I came up with this idea for a cheap easy rod holder and thought I would pass it on. I cut 1/4" off of a 3/4 tee and then pressed it on the leg of my chair (it takes a screw drivver to get it off, but it will movve up and down and rotate. [inline "PICT0851 (Small).JPG"] A 1" tee will fit over the 3/4 tee snugly and will hold the rod or [inline "PICT0852 (Small).JPG"] you can use a elbow with a 1" tube with reel slots and all the extra stuff we do for our tubes or toons. [inline "PICT0854 (Small).JPG"] and since none of it is glued you can rotate the rod where you want and I didn't take a picture of it but the chair will still fold up like always and you just take the elbow or tee off for easy storage and transport.
