Hal, Chick, Crappie, 9-06-09, Martie & Jake the Sheltie - FishNews - 09-10-2009 Took Martie fishing this morning early, left the house just after 5 and was in the water at 5;45.<br />Fished form then 'till about 7:30 in one place and only caught 5 or 6. Then went<br />down river and hit a couple docks. Caught 12 more there. They were hitting bleeding shad<br />and crystal shad with and without the tail dipped. We left the docks at 9:30 when the rain just got<br />too hard. It had rained the whole time. Only had an old yellow raincoat and Martie only had a thin <br />poncho so by then we were pretty well soaked, emoRedface <br />Sure hated to leave fish biting! It rained the whole time but by 9:30 it was coming<br />down pretty hard. It wasn't raining here when we left and isn't raining here now, just on the lake.<br />I'm not sure the weather man was on today.
