The Lowrance HDS - boone10 - 08-21-2009
I have the HDS-5 lake insight and was wondering who all else has purchashed it or one of the other HDS units.
My question is if the regional chips would have lake sinclair. I like the unit but it does not have the lake in full detail like i would like.

Honestly, I can't say if Sinclair would be there on a regional map but the HDS units are top of the line and I rig my boat with Lowrance finders/gps and my customer service has been awesome. I can't offer specific help on one lake but Lowrance customer service for my neck of the woods has been excellent. I imagine if you drop them a line they could answer all of your questions...I just got an idea[crazy]
For those of you who haven't seen the new HDS units [url "http://www.lowrance.com/en/HDS-Revolution/"]click here[/url] . I am not sponsored by Lowrance (I wish I was) but they have the best gps/finder combos out there.

But I agree about the lowrance. I really like the unit and learning more about it still.
