I would like to say thanks to ditchdoc666 for allowing me to fish with him last night in my first ever cff tx. We started out up river after a wild ride. We passed alot of pleasure boats and one plane while we were airborn a couple of times. Ditchdoc666 said he had found some fish for us while fishing thursday and friday, well somebody must had got them saturday morning, we didn't find them ( got to give you a hard time taylor i've not heard the end of it from austin ) We fished some ditches concentrating on ledges 12' to 15' of water. Then moved back down river and then finally into a cove and fished some grass. I did have one hooked, but got off at the boat ( I know lame excuse ) Next time I will remember to use the net. We fished worms and spinner baits and jigs and rattle traps. We didn't weigh anything in but had a blast. It was good to meet some of you guys and look forward to fishing more tx with yall.
