Lure success in '09 - Martini78 - 08-07-2009 I was just looking at my fishing log for 2009. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to post much this year. I hope this one helps someone out. I broke it down by month. All my fishing has been done from the Chesepeak to the Finger Lakes: Best fish producing lures - March - 5" R.I. Flirt worm on a 3/16 oz shaky head, biggest fish 3.04# LMB April - 1/2 oz Strike King Red Eye Shad, biggest fish 3.64# LMB May - 3.5" R.I. Smallie Beaver on a 1/4 oz Texas Rig, biggest fish 2.61# LMB June - Same as May, biggest fish 3.35# LMB July - 3/8 oz War Eagle Spinnerbait, 3.89# LMB August (so far) - 5" Yamamoto Senko on various rigs, 4.40# LMB [signature] Re: [Martini78] Lure success in '09 - gdn443 - 08-09-2009 We still haven't found a pattern to stick to here in CT. Beaver, white spinnerbaits and sencos have all brought fish to the boat.
