I bought a boat - time to modify it - Feydakin - 08-06-2009 I finally own a boat.. We couldn't afford the boat we really wanted, I wanted something great for fishing, my wife wanted something great for going fast and playing as a family on.. We compromised and bought a ski boat.. [:p] 1995 Four Winns Horizon, 19ft.. So far I love the boat for what we are using it for.. But the hot rodder in me plans to make it a decent fishing platform as well.. Step 1 is to mount a trolling motor on the bow.. With the angle that the nose drops off there is no way to mount a motor on there as it is.. So the plan at this point is to machine an adapter plate that fits the contour of the boat on the bottom and has a flat top to mount the motor to.. I hope.. [signature]
