Jet Ski Fishing Off Of Virginia Beach 8/5/09 - jetskibrian - 08-06-2009 My wife wanted to go to Virginia Beach, so we both took the day off. I dropped her off on the boardwalk with her bike and beach gear and then I dropped at Rudee around 0730. I went straight to the Chesapeake Light Tower, I fished there for a while with no luck so I got in and took a look around. I saw plenty of baitfish, 3 or four amberjack and no spades. Visibility was about 10-15 feet. I then ran the buoy line and jumped in at 6 buoys about half of them were holding spade fish, I managed 4 medium spades. There were a lot of small spades and bait fish. I got back to Rudee and picked up my wife around 1300. Beat the traffic coming home, here are a couple pics from today. The Beach was packed as you can see. [signature]
