SpurHunter, Chic Dam, Bass, 7-29-09 - FishNews - 07-31-2009
Had a little time to kill yesterday evening, so I decided to mess around the dam with some top-water baits. Only got one blow-up on a spook, tossed it 2 feet in the air, and scared the crap out of me, but no hookup. Switched to a small swimbait and caught a nice 2.5lb fish. It was long and skinny. Had a better fish on that came unbuttoned, and then lost two when they jumped. Ended with another long, skinny fish over 2lbs before loosing that bait. Gotta find where I bought those and get some more.
