New State Record Rainbow - prvrt - 07-30-2009 I thought the 18lbs'ers from American Falls Reservoir were nice fish, but now a new state record. What a birthday present for the women who caught it. It is 20lbs and 34.25". Here is the link to the news story. It is a pretty awsome fish. The record was set in 1947 so it took 62 years to break it. It was such a big fish!!!! I've attached some pictures but still don't know how to shrink them on my mac, so sorry about the size! Here is the deal, I thought of maybe a coffee table out of it, BUT, we had just got there for a week long vacation. Two ice chest FULL of things we need to eat, so NO WHERE to store it. I am more into the measurements, weight, color and then FIBERGLASS. I just think they look better. This fish was able to die where it was living for SOOOOO many years. And to add to all of this bull[] It flew out of my hands when all was said and done. It was a little hard to hold onto.
