Hal, Chick, Crappie & Bass, 7-26-09, Drum King - FishNews - 07-28-2009 Dk and I started at daylight this morning to try for some of the white bass at the boils. Our luck wasn't with us today for whites, emoScratch We only caught a couple and decided that it was too slow for us so we decided to crappie fish, emoSmile we'd rather anyway, emoCool <br />We fished 'till 10:30 and caught 23 crappie but only caught 6 to make it into the livewell as our minimum for the day was 11 inch fish, emoSmile All others went back to grow up to be big boys, emoSmile It was a good day with light wind and temps in the 70's. Water temp was 81* and we caught 'em on a 12 count using BG shad and ringer stingers.<br />Better days are coming, emoTongue emoThumbsup
