Help me help make a wish - orvis1 - 07-22-2009 [url "http://www.wish.org/"][/url] We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Utah Atv Association In 2008 we raised $34,588.29 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Dear BFT Friends, As many of you know me and my wife participate every year in the RIDE FOR LIFE a fundraising ATV ride from Tooele to Wendover. We raise money for the make a wish foundation to help grant children with a terminal illness a wish. I have been into the wish room at the Make A Wish foundation and can’t begin to explain what a moving experience this is. As you can guess I am asking you today for a donation to help these children. I know this is a brutal economy and everyone has had to tighten their belts on expenses what I am proposing is the following. If each of you can find as little as $10 to give that will raise if you can give more please do but even $5 dollars will add up and I think we can all skip a trip to the drive thru to help grant a terminally ill child’s wish. Your donations are tax deductible and we can provide receipts if needed. I had ridden 15 years in a row when I stopped riding in it. My father is the originater of the ride that began back in 1984. I understand there will only be 109 riders this year down from 157 from the previous year. [signature]
