FishnFool, River, Bass, BG, White Bass, Smallie, 7/19/09, Sam - FishNews - 07-21-2009
Decided to do a little late afternoon fishing. Sam and I put the boat in at River Park around 4:30 pm. The sky was cloudy and the air temp pretty cool today. Went to fish below the dam. A little slow but the bass were biting. I think it was the cloudy skies that helped. Sam caught 4 nice ones and I caught 2 nice ones. I caught my first fish on topwater and it happened to be a smallie. I will post that one later. Also caught biggest white bass so far this year. Hooked a few yellow bass and some fat bluegill. There was only one generator going so flow was slow. Switched to a live BG and Sam almost hooked a heron! emoLaugh Only thing we could get to hit the BG was some gar! emoConfused Good time - off the water around 8:30pm.
