new fly rod holder test drive - peter805 - 07-16-2009

My fly rod holder is done for the most part. So I went
to test it out today ( it was not too worm today only 94F ).
It worked very well. No problem casting or landing
at the shore.Thank you all that helped my through it.
Also see picture of my HUGE bass and nice size
bluegill.

That's a good fly-rod rest design Peter.

Well done on coming up with it.

[cool][#0000ff]Rod holder looks great. Nice work.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Pretty sunfish (not a bluegill)[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]HUGE bass. Where did you find such a HUGE fly to catch it on. HUGE HANDS too. Just goes to show ya that those bass are aggressive predators. They will smack anything of any size. I have actually caught bass that were smaller than the big crankbaits I was throwing. As long as they can get a hook point inside their mouths they figure they can eat the lure.[/#0000ff]
