Fellow CFF member THutch and I finally made it out for a short trip. We hit the Riverpark where we threw mostly soft plastics and live shiners. THutch schooled me on the bass tactics, boating several keeper bass. We slowed down a bit in the late pm and tried for some catfish. All they would hit was the shiners, but the bite was sluggish. Had 2 good pulldowns, but both were on the light line and broke off. The 2 big rods we had out got touched a few times, but no hooksets. BTW, the gar were everywhere on top...and may have been making things a bit tougher on us. I believe we are going to try again in a few weeks. First time to have THutch in my boat, even though I have known him for several years. He is a great guy and I really enjoyed the trip.<br /><br />Crazyhorse
