Sawyers Pond Emmett - Rocknrob - 07-08-2009
I love fishing this pond. Today I caught 3 fish, 2 cats and 1 bass.
One of the catfish (channel) was 5.25 lbs and 26 inches long on 8 lb test with cutbait.. Oh my gosh did it fight. I thought I was never gonna get it in. Earlier I was using my ultra light, had a big one on, but as reeling it in as slow as I could the line broke. They are just so big and really put up a fight compared to the ones I caught up at Oxbow.
The bass bit on the cutbait as well, it was only 14 inches and 1.25 lbs. It was sure fun to catch.
