Need Help Picking Out NEW Rod... - KbassO - 07-06-2009 So here is my situation, I am looking for an overall rod that will work for bass as well as use it duel for pike/muskie. I am looking at the Cabelas Tourney Trail Casting Rod 7ft. Heavy Action..but I have also looked at the St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rod 7ft. Heavy action..anyone have any suggestions on which one will work out the best for my needs.... These are the best rods I have ever used... like it a lot more than any St. Croix I have had in the past. The Carrot Stix Gold line is a tad more expensive, but they feel incredible in your hand. I know the mojo is in the $100 range... so it would be a 40-50$ upgrade if you wanted to go with an e21 rod. I have a Shimano compre that I bought years ago for Muskie fishing that I now use for medium sized swim baits for bass. [signature] |
