JDK, Chick, Bass, 7/1, 2Jigs - FishNews - 07-02-2009
<br /> Got out with a new partner today.. 2Jigs tagged along and we spent about 3 hours checking out some different spots..Fished deep water ledges for the 1st 2 hours then tried some shallow areas with frogs at dark.. Had a a few blow ups on Frogs but didnt hook anything.. It was slow for us tonight but what we did catch was nice.Steve started 1st with a nice spot around 2 lbs on a swimbait then followed with a 3 to 4 lb channel cat on a swimbait.. this river will always throw some surprises at ya lol.. Not to be outdone on my own boat i ended the catching with a nice bass just shy of 3lbs.. He sure looked bigger as he came up from 20 ft of water..Caught on a baby brush hog crigged..
