craazyboutbass, Chickamauga, Bass, 6/23, Colby - FishNews - 06-24-2009 <br /> Hit the Chick this afternoon around 4 and fished til 9... <br /> <br /> We fished ledges to start off with that would come up to 5 foot down to the main river channel... We caught 11 bass with 5 keeping by 6PM coming off c-rigged lizards in 5-20FT. But the bite shut completely off for us after around 6 tonite... so we went and tried for topwater in really shallow grass, we managed another 3 small bass, 2 spots and a largemouth, all 3 measured.<br /> <br /> The topwater bite wasnt too great so by 8PM we decided to hit some bluffs... we hooked a couple small spots and a largemouth... some of the spots may have been over the 12" line but never measured them... <br /> Best 5 today shouldve gone somewhere between 10 and 12 pounds, maybe more... not to bad for a guy who fishes Parksville too much... emoBig <br /> Anyways.... the pics
