At that angle it is good, but how do you mount it to your tube?

In the next couple of days (week) I will be working on mounting it. I have a plan in place which I already changed like four times.............[
] but anyways it is a part of big change over. I will be moving my ff battery to theother side and moving scotty flyrod holder and
remounting ff monitor and instaling left side pocket
dividers and so on..........
Yeah I know , im sick and I need help. My wife thinks
that Im crazy but better doing this then drugs or something[

I have my monitor on the right side of my boats. It doesn't interfere with my casting at all.
My spare rods are on my left.....so they don't interfere.
Did I mention, I cast right handed, strip/reel left hand....some cast left.

Yeah ,I cast the same way.
Monitor on the right.....................I need to think about that.
If I can clear the monitor(on the right) wile casting, then
I think I would like that better.Sometimes when I do hard
strip/hook set (bass) I nail the monitor (on left) with
my hand. No big deal but still.

I just noticed in the last picture I think that you have exposed bolts that will probably come into contact with the material of the tube.. what is your plan for covering them up or preventing that from happening??

No contact, holder will be installed on side of tube.
