Fished for crappie from 8-12 this am in the Soddy area. I ended up with 10 keepers between 11 and 12 in. and that many more that were shorter. Blue, pearl, smoke/glitter and electric chicken were the colors of the BG shad and crappie stingers with tails dipped in chartreuse. I used 1/32 oz at docks and 1/16 oz on steep rocky banks. Almost no current (less than 14,000cfs). Water temp was 81 when I left. The action was not fast and furious, it took some work. Seems like I lost a lot of fish today for some reason (nibbles instead of bites ?). The fish were very deep (15-25 count).
