general Alaska questions - camper92663 - 06-11-2009
Hello, first post.
I am more of a photographer than a fisherman but I am going to BC and Alaska in a few week pulling a camping trailer.
I'll camp first on the Kitimat river in BC for a few days then ferry over to Prince of Wales Island for five days camping.
After that I ferry to all the ports like ketchikan, wrangell, petersburg, Juneau, haines, and skagway.
Then I drive down the Cassair highway to Kitwanga then then home to Utah. I may take a few extra dayd to drive to Bella Coola too..
Recommendations?
I have a light salt water rig (9' 20/300) spinnign outfit and a lightweight trout pole/spinning too.
I need recommended lures for Salmon, Dolly Varden, and Cutthorats.

welcome to the site camper. im sure somebody on here will be able to give you some info. i have never been to alaska i hope to make it there soon. try the alaska board!!!
