Will head to Chesterfield this weekend..
Haven't fish there before. Anyone been there recently?what baits work well? We will be on a boat I guess.

We took a trip out there last year and killed. We were using pink nighties and threw back at least 5 each. However, it was a bit later in the season. But I have heard good reports this year too.

Hey mbright I fished it Saturday for first time! WOW what a nice place for bow's...boat or bank! Pretty windy and I wonder who was in charge of shuttin off the faucet!!lol I trolled around it and fishy finder pegged fish everywhere close to shore around 20ft depth mostly. Top water in 35+ depths. Talked to 4 local anglers and told me NO cutthroat in there! HA I caught 1 14"er with pop gear! Sorry I didn't take pics because of rain. Caught and released many bow's in 2-3llb range brought home 2 for eats! I did try different techniques and lures: flatfish,cheese,salmon eggs, daredevils, spoons, dry fly's including sinking wet flys. Pop gear w/nighty nite!!AMAZING!!

Are you going to Lava Hot Springs? Chesterfield is about 24 miles out of Lava! Google it and Lava is hoppin in July!
