After getting no good bites for the CFF TX Friday night I decided to fish again Saturday night. I got in the water at 6:00 and planned on fishing late. I caught some short fish and the later it got the better the fish got. I was throwing C-rigs and dragging off points and drops. At about 8:00 I decided to move to a VERY popular pont before those CBA guys got there. We had no keepers on there Fri. night. Sure enough, I started yanking up keepers on a Baby Brush hog. Go figure. As the bite slowed down and the moon came out, I moved into a flat about 8 feet of water and BINGO! I caught several fish anywhere from 15 to 22 inches. I probably had enough to get paid in CBA but I didn't have entry money. Left a midnight and caught lots of fish though. It was much calmer than Friday night and brighter. Maybe that was the difference.
