Fished the holler Monday and Tuesday. Two boats at the Holler and we caught several SM at night on jigs and tubes, Caught a few on spooks during the day. The best spook bite is a week or two away but WE did have some success. Shiftworker fished with a friend of mine and they caught their share. We had them in the 4 lb range and I wacked one pretty good one. We fished humps with the coontail and main river points. We also caught some walleye with my partner catching one around 8 lbs. Got back Wed then headed to the G with some guests from Nashville. We caught them pretty good. Yesterday evening I finally convinced my buddies we need to forget the grass and smaller fish so we hit the shell beds and deep ledges and we found them pretty good. Three over 6 and several over 5lb. We were fishing drops on the points with hard bottoms. IT WAS A GOOD WEEK.
