Well I got out to the water around 7:30pm. Fished 4 new areas with no takers. I marked fish in the first spot, but I believe they were not hungry at that time. As we were leaving I decided to stop on a 9ft hump I have been catching fish on. Was going to return to the first spot and see if they started up, but never made it. Well about 5 cast on the hump I had a nice fish on, only to have it throw the ol worm. I had a hit the next cast, swing and miss. I then told Mendy, as she was done fishing at this time and waiting on me, I said, 5 more cast and we will go, unless I catch a fish and then the count starts over. Well I caught 2 back to back and then one more about 3 cast later. Then my 5 cast did not hook anything so we left, but I know the fish were there and they were just getting ready. No keepers in the boat, but the one that jump and shook off was definitely a keeper. All the fish were hooked or caught in 20 minutes, between 920-940pm. Water temp was 80F SOrry nothing picture worthy tonight.
