Very slow... They're scattered. Three in the boat. Left four short of the net. (newbies onboard) All three 14" - 16.5" and fat. Just grilled them. Tasty...
Appeared to be slow for everyone. Should improve once they school up. No columns; just one here and one there...
Water temp was 70F by 2pm. Caught them all at 25' to 35'. All on pink apex w/ shoepeg. Nothing on maggots...

Sure glad you posted, Burt. Helped Kali and me decide between L.P. and Magic for next Monday. West Magic Resort just posted a fishing report that was very positive. For some reason, Magic trout fight like no others, I swear. I am hoping Hot Springs ramp is open, but I doubt it. Guess I'll end up going over to West Magic. Sorry you didn't find better fishing.
