Those are most likely Kentucky bass, commonly known as spotted bass.
A couple of ways to tell besides the heavy spots below the lateral line are
that the hinge of the mouth on a spot does not come back behind the eye.
On a largemouth it does. Also you can feel the Tongue and if it's smooth
it's most likely a largemouth. If it has a distinctive rough patch then it's
most likely a spot.

Great fish, the mouths do look a bit small to be largemouth, although 2 and 3 look like they might be. 1 and 4 look a little different then 2 and 3. Did you talk to anyone who fishes that area since? I would be interested to know for sure?

It's at a pond across the street from my work. I fish there on breaks and lunch. I haven't talked to anyone else that fishes over there. Seems I am the only one that believes there are bass there. Most seem to think it's just bluegill, catfish and carp.

I'm from kentucky, and when we use to catch spotted bass in the creeks. the way i could tell is the eyes are red-ish compared to large mouth.

also: similar in appearance to the largemouth bass. Has green to olive-green hue; white, mottled belly; and a broad stripe of broken blotches, usually diamond-shaped, along the midline of the body. Unlike the largemouth, the spotted bass has scales on the base portion of the second dorsal fin; its first and second dorsal fin are clearly connected, and its upper jaw does not extend past the eye. Above the lateral line there are dark markings, and below the lateral line the scales have dark bases that give rise to the linear rows of small spots which are responsible for the common name.

largemouth dorsals are pretty low between the two fins. sorry i cant see the pics or maybe i could tell which are which.
