New here, 05/21/09 - springkitty - 05-21-2009 [fishin] My name is kitty, I live in North Florida and I am a retired woman which to me means I should be fishing everyday. We only have 4 lakes here but due to turtles I stopped going for awhile, then began wondering if I could make my own bait that fish would love but the turtles would leave alone. (The waters here are really infested with turtles!) Does anyone have such a recipe you would share with me? So far the turtles love everything I come up with, OR the fish nor turtles like it, lol!! Anyway I am happy to have found this site and be accepted as a member. What kind of fish are you after? If you are trying to catch pan fish, it might work to just use a jig and a plastic grub, maybe the turtles would leave that alone without bait. Anyway good luck with your quest and I hope you enjoy the site as much as we do. WH2 [signature] Re: [Dryrod] New here, 05/21/09 - springkitty - 05-24-2009 ![]() Kitty [signature] |
