<br /> Me and Shane launched out of Skull Island around 1 or 2 this afternoon and headed towards the boils in hopes of catching some shad. <br /> We decided the shad were not there after about 10-15 throws so we tied some artificails on and headed up river after fishing some ledges.<br /> We fished shallow and started getting on some fish off t-rigged and shakeyhead worms. We landed about 15-17 fish including 9 LM, several spots, 2 smallmouth and an 18lb blue cat. The bigger bass were a chunky 17 inch largmouth and an 18 inch smallmouth. All fish were realesed to fight again.
