Muskrat, Chick, bass / fish net, 5-19-09 - FishNews - 05-21-2009 I found the conditions Monday a little tough so I fished from about 10 am to noon and spent the next hour doing some long overdue cleaning of my boat out in the middle of Harrison Bay. It was a beautiful day, but my pontoon was spinning around like a top out there. I fished the first two or three sloughs around Harrison Bay...and that was about it. I didn't have my camera but here's a little face time for a so-so bass I caught on a chartreuse spinner bait I took with my cell phone ( I wish my arms were a little longer ). I lost a nice bass on a shaky head, but I did manage to pick up this net also that was right on top of the water. I raised my engine right as I started pulling it and it came off so I didn't have a big mess to deal with. I saw some commercial fisherman throw back a huge paddlefish / shovel bill a couple of weeks ago from what I believe was the same net.<br /><br />J.
