Dropshot, Chickamauga, Bass, 5/19/2009, Wift - FishNews - 05-20-2009
Attended a morning funeral, then decided to take to the Chick for a few hours. Hit three different areas, concentrating on deep water structure initially. Ended up the day catching a total of 9 fish over two hours of fishing, including a few in the 18 and 19 inch range. Best 5 might have hit 11 pounds or so. Upon leaving the last area, the outboard decided to not start. We trolled for a while before I called Pointer 78 who volunteered to come up and tow us in. Fortunately, Taffi got the big motor to finally start and we high-tailed it back to HBSP. Noticed the water temps down 4-5 degrees over the weekend. Caught all fish on Chatterbait, LFT Craw, Lipless Crankbait, and Spinnerbait. All fish released to be caught again.
